We the members of the NOTA Party, believe that you are perfectly capable of running your own life. That you should be able to do whatever you want, just as long as it doesn’t harm anyone else or prevent them from doing whatever they want.
Our role as governors is to protect your freedom, and that is all. We are not babysitters, nor are we a charity, and we are certainly not your leaders. You are your own leader.
But it’s not all about you. Everyone else’s freedom relies on peaceful cooperation and order, and that’s where we come in. Our job is to maintain the peace, for you and for everyone, so that the pursuit of happiness can follow its many splendid paths.
Philosophical Basis
No this isn’t something we just dreamed up, nor is it a joke. The principle of self-governance has a long intellectual tradition and been upheld by some of the finest minds of humanity.
